Why we give.

We need to choose diligently between laying up treasures on earth or laying them up in Heaven. Jesus teaches that earthly treasures are temporary and prone to loss and decay. So instead, his followers ought to be laying up treasure in Heaven where they are eternal and safe.

Giving generously to the church of our time, talent, and tithe is one of the ways we lay up treasures for ourselves in Heaven and a proper response to a loving and gracious God who has given us all that we have. While in different measures, every member of our church has time, talent, and tithe to give. 

Pledge for Stewardship 2025

Stewardship is ultimately being a disciple for Christ wherein the church and its people steward resources of time, talent, and tithe for the glory of God and the blessing of His people. Join us in praying together throughout this season that we might be faithful to the gospel and steer a steady but certain course based on God's Word.

You can place an offering in the plate passed each Sunday morning.

You can mail in your giving to 1324 Marion Street, Columbia, SC 29201 or bring your envelope to The Bridge building at 1400 Lady Street, Columbia, SC 29201 to give.
